The presentation will focus on the energy code requirements for electrical systems, barring any state amendments.  The presentation will be a comprehensive review of IECC 2021 and the changes from IECC 2018.

Presenter:

Mark Felgate, PE, is the Lead Electrical Engineer and project manager for the Massachusetts and Connecticut offices of Hallam-ICS.  Mark is also the Head of the Electrical Department for the multi-office company.  Hallam-ICS is a multi-discipline engineering and instrumentation control system company with a strong presence in the life science, semi-conductor, advanced technology, and industrial process. Mark has a BSEE degree from the University of Connecticut, is a member of NFPA, and is currently a manager, and previously served as President, for the Hartford Chapter of IESNA (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America).  He has over 35 years of diverse experience in design and engineering, has been published in Consulting Specifying Engineer, taught at the University of Hartford, is licensed to practice Electrical Engineering in eighteen states, and has been an active mentor with ACE Mentoring for over twenty years.
